Kewao is Well Washed
After a warm, dry summer, our return to Kewao was hot and wet! In the 40s and humidity of 94%, the hatches went open and all fans were turned on. Sadly, a torrent of rain came in the night and soaked us as never before. Two storms are moving through and so another night of a few hours of rain caught us. This time, battened down, we had all the fans turned on. Work in the day is slow but everything has checked out. The outboard started immediately and the diesel with a small amount of persuasion hummed its usual sound to our relief. The dinghy was lauched and is not leaking. Much yet to do in days that are uncomfortable. We won't start travelling until mid November.
